      I like the 66 John

I like the stance. It looks like it is coming along nicely.

Tim, after reading your signature I think you owe us a few, no, lots of pictures of your '72's engine compartment. And the story of how you wound up with a Keith Black Hemi in your Nova wouldn't hurt either.

All in the need to go faster!
My partners and i determined you can build a blown alcohol Hemi cheaper than you can build a blown big block Chevy. After destorying a few sets of cylinder heads on our blown small block we decided to look at a new motor combination and we ended up with the Hemi.
If you go through my Webshots page you can see the transformation of my Nova from a daily driver to a blown Outlaw 10.5 racecar.
      http://community.webshots.com/user/heminova

      It started as a daily driver with a 350 and a 4 speed. (1990)

Then it got another small block with 2 stages of NOS. (1995)

Then a back half and a blown and injected small block. (2000)

      Then the Hemi. (2002)

The car now has a blown big block, another buddy owns this motor and he is currently driving the car.

I would like to thank (I think) Bobby Johnson for inspiring me back in the early 90's with his orange Nova that he raced in the NMCA Super Street class.

Thanks! Just waiting for the C6 A-arms and Hubs and we should have a final B/S for the wheels. Hopefully Kris Horton will have time to do the rendering. Where's your beauty!

      NovaNutcase,

I posted a pic of it up above but I will post another. It has come a long way since being a rusted hunk of metal. It stil has the original springs and rear in so the rear needs to come down a bit.
