Under construction... Was going to be a street/strip car but now that I have the PT bug well, time to start "over". At least I didn't get TOO far to begin with. Plans include a CPP mini front clip for now and eventually a CA bolt on clip with all the goodies, already has a 350/350TH setup just rebuilt so that will be my power plant for now with big plans later down the road, and a 10 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. So basically I want to do it PT style for now and go back and do the PT handling hopefully sooner than later. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome keep in mind this is on a super tight budget. Blah blah Heres the pics

      '67 from a newbie

Some fantastic rides, here! I took a few quick pics of the '67 I've been working on for my general manager( auto repair chain). He bought it with a TCI front clip. 383 and 700r4 and a set of Torq Thrust ll's. After installing subframe connectors, a G-bar rear suspension with Varishock coilovers and a 4.10, Detroit Locker Fab-9 rear from Chassisworks, we added Wilwood 13", 4 piston brakes on 2'' drop spindles and a QA1 coilover conversion to the TCI clip. Next was a 517 dyno'd HP LS6 from Turnkey Engines. The supplied mount plates were modified to lower the engine 3/4" as well as move it 1-1/4" forward for stock firewall clearance. Casey Jackson just completed a 2.5" Stainless exhaust system from the Street and Performance headers using Magnaflow polished SS mufflers. He also modified the Lokar TV and speedo cables to align with the Turnkey 90 mm throttle body. Awaiting installation is a Dakota Digital Dash insert, after the interior is completed in a light tan leather by Nick at Interstate Custom Interiors in Chandler AZ. Wheels are from Bonspeed in 20x10 and 19x8 with 275 and 245's. An indash AC/heat ( don't know brand, not Vintage Air, tho)system helps clean up the engine bay. Paint is HOK.

Note: Rear coilovers returned to Chassisworks for repair after another guy tried to adjust the ride height without unlocking the springseats. He unscrewed the shock and got a facefull of shock oil! Car normally sits about 3" lower; up on hoist awaiting shock return.

      Ric

PS: New replacement rear Varishocks arrived in 4 days after returning them. Great service!
