      PT on a budget

      Hey everyone,

I've been on the site for a while but just figured out how to post pics and stuff so I figured I'd show off my ride thus far. I'm doing things on a budget and learning most of it as it goes so keep that in mind. I'm hoping to build an all around performer out of my 72 Chevelle and have hopefully been making some mods that will help me acheive my goals w/ the car. Anyways, here's some of the details that I posted in another section:
      https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=17651

I hope to apply alot of what I learn on the site to my car

      Max

One thing to keep in mind Max. There always seems to be good deals on parts in the for sale section here. Great for someone on a budget, most the time the parts are new, just people changing plans.
Welcome aboard, we look forward to following your build.

BTW, I love the LS1 and turbo, looks like you are on the right track.

Hey Max, how well did that universal radiator work out? Is it going to require much fab work for brackets or would it work with the stock setup if you choose to go that route?

Yep, I've seen a few good deals and I'm eyeing a couple of parts right now....

It's going to work allright for my purposes but it doesnt really work with the stock piece that goes on the top of the radiator or w/ the stock fan shroud. I had to modify the upper part for it to work and made a fan shroud to run electric fans. It's also a little taller than a stock radiator so the mounting to the radiator support will have to be altered a little also.
