      new bird

I am new to the list but have a great car that is almost complete. It is a 1969 firebird with DSe four link and front coil over conversion with tubular control arms.It is currently in paint and should be on the road in Sept 06.I also have solved the problem of dash replacement for this car.It is a fiberglass dash that i created that bolts in factory holes and this will be for sale shortly. Here is a hood wew are also doing.I cant wait to get this thing on the road.

Wow now that is killer. I really like the curves in the dash and the way you worked air conditioner holes.

Nice hood too. It looks a lot like the one on a member's GTO, Roger Poirier :

Welcome! I have a '69 Bird as well. You can check it out on my website (www.kytle.net). My site is kind of under construction right now though and I have a couple of updates to add this weekend. One is a hood scoop install similar to yours. I'm installing a '67 Corvette big block hood scoop on it.

What part of the country are you in?

I have a buddy that has put the stingray scoop on his 69 also.it looks cool but the only problem he is having is since the scoop is fiberglass it as a little trouble with small cracks from the glass to steel not holding.
