Another Newbie with a 69 Camaro

I've been lurking for some time and thought I would finally post an intro. My name is Eric, and I have a decent 69 Camaro that I plan to start the PT conversion on this spring/summer. It already has a '96 LT1, 700R4, and 12 bolt posi with unknown ratio.

I ordered the DSE stage 1 front and rear (leaf/shackle/shock kit), all new steering parts, and am waiting for round 2 of the ATS tall spindles. I plan on running the Touring Classics kits front and rear, and will get those from the cool guys at ATS as well when they get the spindles done. Can't freakin' wait!

Wheels are next - I can't decide what to get. For sure 18s, and I want to keep the set under $2700 or so. Budniks and Boze are on the short list.

Thanks to all for the stuff I have learned while lurking. I plan to have a perpetual project. I will build and modify the car as time and funds permit. Most importantly, I love my ride and can't wait to get it out on the track one day. Until then I have some sweet canyons and mountain roads to enjoy near my home in Boulder, Colorado. -eric

Nice Camaro Eric, I was going to run the LT1 in mine before I decided on the LS1. Yours should look sweet with some new suspension, brakes & 18's.

Welcome. Looks like you are off to a good start and have a good plan. I also went with the Touring Classics C-5 brakes and would have done the ATS spindle had funds been available.
