Tko Shifter..can You Reverse It?
I was wondering if you could reverse the position of the shifter plate on the TKO 600.. Mine needs to move up about three inches to fit perfect in my stock location. Is it just a matter of taking the six bolts off and turning the plate around?? How does it connect into the tranny? I never have opened one of these up internally before so I want to make sure it is do able and want to know the right way to go about it. Thanks in advance!!

Mark, just like you suspected, unbolt the shifter, turn it 180 deg. and bolt it back up. The shifter has a ball that fits in a socket of the trans, self explainitory once you see it. Use some RTV when you bolt it back together.
