      moldings

      hi

      I have repaird the are around the front and back window how do I Solve the problem with mounting the moldings becaus the small thingies tha the clips atatches to are gone beacaus of the rust repair. Any body have any tips.

      Is the glass installed or not? If not, here is a Carquest part number for some screws that replace the welded on studs: 8140012. If you have a stud gun for pulling dents, then there are kits that you use the gun to weld on new studs. If you don't have the gun then the screws work fine. Just don't try to over tighten them because they will either break or you will strip them.

      I'm a rookie and I know this one. Go to your local harware store and purchase small sheet metal screws. I bought them in stainless steel.

      Either way will work. Let me know if you want me to order the screws and how many. I think they come 50/box.
