Need your feedback again ! FB Spoiler

      Hey guys -
Asking for your honest feedback again. You definately kept me on the right track with the hood, now how about the rear spoiler ? Do you like the factory "ducktail" or the "69 T/A Wing" I think I would cut the wing down to about half the height in the rendering if I were to go that route.
      Thanks a bunch !!

      I prefer the wing.
      Less ordinary.

Ducktail, I think the wing draws too much attention to itself and away from the "clean" look of the car.

      Beautiful car by the way

The Pontiac pedestal style spoiler is the "right" way. What most people don't realize is that the small "Camaro" style wing was never offered on Pontiacs.

The wing looks great on a Camaro but even better on a Firebird. I say go with the wing to give it that even more bold Firebird look. You will also be less likely to hear "Hey is that another Camaro" You can say "No its a Firebird-DUH look at the wing"

      I guess technically, it's a Trans-Am wing. I said 'bird.

Thanks for the responses so far !!
Looking into who is the best source for the T/A spoiler IF i go that route. Already have the factory ducktail in hand IF that is the choice.

Do you have a pic of the current spoiler? How is it different from a Camaro?

The wing is the way to go. BTW, awesome looking car. Love the hood and front end.

I will say this. Not many Firebirds have spoilers, so either one will be different from most. Here is a T/A style.

I like the T/A wing. What if you lowered it a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch? Either way I say stick with the T/A wing. You rarely see them around.

I like the ducktail, the other "looks" like an afterthought or an aftermarket add-on. Ducktail looks more like it belongs.

I think a shortened t/a wing would look awesome.

Once again guys, thanks for all of your comments and feedback. Since you "are" the PT movement, your feedback means a ton. Thanks.

      Roger -
Your GTO spoiler is the style that I like in terms of width versus height.
I do like the T/A wing, but I want to find the shortest version I can. Even with the same height as a GTO, the 67/68 firebird is so narrow that the aspect ratio makes it look very tall, almost a little ricer.

69rs - The picture of that white 69 with the wing, any idea who's car that is. I am mostly interested in where the "shorter" spoiler came from.
Early Ponitacs and National Parts Deport both have ones that fit a 68, the NPD one has 3-3/4" standoffs. Haven't heard back from Early Pontiacs yet. I am trying to locate a shorter one.

Still have the factory one that came off it (looks exactly the same as a 68 Camaro spoiler) too.
