I noticed the entire bottom of the car is cut out. Where do you plan on mounting your license plate? I assume your exhaust will go where that opening is at?

The rear suspension is a Morrison triangulated 4 link and it fits really nice just used the factory leaf spring mount and then a upper mount in the floor behind the seat.
Asfor the brushed aluminum NO most is either beadblasted and clear annodized or polished and clear annodized or black chromed.
I think the gas cap will be polished and clear annodized.
the cut out will have 2 exhaust tips on either side and the plate will be mounted between them and recessed back so it is less obvious.
As for steve o starting a trend hummmmmmmm not to knock Steve but i think GM did it on the 67/68 Camaros we ( meaning steve ,baldwin, us , and everyone else that has done it) have just tried to improve on it

I just looked back at the pics and had another question. Since your cap is right in the center of the car and the exhaust is right under where the tank will be, I was wondering what you will do for a gas tank. I only ask because I was originally planning on running a cap like you did but my fuel cell would have had to be a lot lower. And my exhaust enters straight out the back directly under my fuel cell. I assume your going to make a tank for it that hugs around the exhaust pipes? Otherwise it will be too high to put gas into.
I mean the bottom of that cap is only about 3"-4" above the exhaust tips.

that's a design secret ............... no really we cut most of the trunk out and built a tank that is now the trunk floor and the exhaust now runs where the leaf springs were and the mufflers mount on the side of the tank up where the rear spring mounts were. you should be able to see the exhaust in some of the pics on the site.

Ohhhh I see it now. Very clever. You had the exhaust run beside the tank then out the center of the back. Dang thats killer! Wow even the mufflers are behind the axle. Impressive. Must have been tough to route everything but you did a great job with it.
