      67 Camaro wheel suggestions

I want to upgrade my current 15" wheels on my stock suspension
67 Camaro. I read many postings and still am confused. I like the look of the C5 Corvette wheels and find many for sale.

I don't like the current look of my car, the front seems to be slightly higher than the rear.

I am thinking going to 17" or maybe 18". Can I get some suggestions about doing this. I see many 8.5" and 9.5" width wheels and don't know what would fit in my stock wells. Should I put 18" in rear and 17" in front? Can I go 9.5" on my Camaro or would they even fit in the back.

If you post to me on this let me know what size of tires I should mate up with them. This is just a summer cruiser for me, not a racer but want a hot look.

      Thanks

i'm not really too much into the big wheels, but as a size reference, i can offer this about my '67 Firebird:

i run an 8" weld wheels with 4.5" backspace on all 4 corners, with 265/50-15 tires on the rear, and 215/60-15 on front.

with these specs, you should be able to size your big wheels accordingly.

you can see the car by clicking my link below:

I have Budnik Fat Lip Fontanas. 275 rear and 255 front. 17 in front and 18 in back . the car is lowered 3 inches in back and 1.5 in front. the wheels still fit. no rubbing anywhere. sinoce your are running stock suspension you should be fine with a rim thats 17-18 inches and up to 275 with. call the wheel company and ask what type of backspacing you will need though.
