Small base circle cam??
Hey all,
I'm just looking for some expertise/opinion on the following.
sbc 383 3.75" crank, 6" rods. 4.030" slugs
I have been told that there are possible clearance issues to be dealt with. The rods have been clearanced for the approx size cam I want to use, but do you think it would be better to use a small base circle cam to increase the margin of error.
If so....what will I need to consider when going this route??
Do they make taller lifters or do I just use longer pushrods.
Are there issues with cam flex with this style cam or am I just worrying too much? All info appreciated
Thanks,
Mike
