I can update you about them...

I also wanted to give you a few of the key steps necessary to manufacture a new product here, so you'd see where I was coming from.

Once consumer interest in a specific product is determined, we enlist the parts required to begin production of the first pototype(s) (thankfully, we rececived those necessary parts from two members of this site - J68Bird and Jagarang)

      From there, we:

      1) Design for the housing
      2) Obtain the prototype board (circuitry) for design
      3) Thoroughly test the prototype
      4) Submit the finished prototype for Management review for functionality, costing, market penetration, labor, etc...
      5) Once approved, the order is placed for the circuitry boards
      6) Once the boards are populated, we test them and develop packaging.
      7) Instruction sets are developed (installation schematics) as photos of final versions are necessary
      8) Then.... we're ready to sell!

Right now, we're on step 5.

So, we're moving along pretty well. We just can't let anything leave here until it's been tested, re-tested and tested again. I'm sure you understand.

I'll post again once we're closer to the almighty Step 8.

      Drew,
Thanks for reminding me... I forgot to mention that we're working on the Firebird '67, '68 and '69's simultaneously so they should be ready all at the same time. Forgot to mention that in my last post.

Just got this link sent to me today from Super Chevy.

Here's an in-depth tech article they wrote about the lights & installation.
Just thought I'd share the link with you.

Just a few more weeks. By the end of the month, they'll be on-sale.
I'll post here (and notify Larry) when they're ready.

      They're ready!
      Firebird lovers, unite!
The 67-68 Led Tail Lights are ready. Part #500897, $239.

They are in pigtail form so that you can simply splice them into your existing rear body harness, which saves you time and money.

Thanks for your patience while we developed these lights for Firebird.

The 1969 pigtails will be ready in a few weeks!

      Sure! Thanks for asking.

I just posted the photo HERE for you to see.

It operates and appears just like the LED kits for Camaro. It'll look just like the animation on this page. (Or as shown in my signature)
