Help!! My power window will not go up.
The driver side power window on my wifes car (2000 SS Camaro) will not go up!. It has a toggle switch with 3 prongs that connect to 3 wires (Brown,Grey and Blue). I want to try and bypass the switch as I think its bad. How can I hotwire it to go up?

One wire will have power, and 2 will be grounds. Check for power, then jump that power wire to either of the other ones. If nothing happens, try the other wire. Check to see if the 2 wires have a ground with either a test light or an ohm-meter. I would bet it is the motor that has failed. If you have power at the motor replace it. Give it a tap with a hammer while holding the up button and see if it goes. Sometimes that will make it work for a while.
