      Seats????????????

      Hey,
      Does anyone out there have any information on which seats out of newer cars will bolt right into a 73 firebird formula. Id like to get big name racing seats however as with any young person I dont have alot of money. Well any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

      I don't know of any but I'm assuming that you have the original seats. If so it is pretty easy to use those tracks and just figure out a way to mount the new seats on those tracks.

      seats

      4th gen seats will fit with some cutting, and grinding on the seat brackets that come with the seats.

      After much searching and much frustration, I have created and tested a document with pictures on how to modify 4th generation seats to fit in a 2nd generation car without major modifications and without using too many expensive tools.

      I have created a small web page where this can be downloaded or viewed.
