Poly vs Steel Bushing Coilover Shocks?
Hey guys, I've been looking into different front and rear coilover shock/spring combinations and was wondering if anyone can give some insight on the longevity and performance characteristics of polyurethane bushings versus steel bearing bushings used in the shock mounting eyelets?

I've heard that the steel bushings are pretty lifelimited on the street but I have no backing data on that.
My performance goals are about 20% track driving and the rest will be cruising/road driving. I've got a 1st gen Camaro with a Martz wide track front sub and a DSE quadralink rear.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you really plan on driving the car that much? We're talking about tens of thousands of miles in a lifespan.Matt Jones

Matt,
I will probably be putting 5-10k miles on the car a year.
