Z06 on 1st Gen Fbody
Has anyone seen a 1st Gen Fbody (preferably 67-68) running Z06 wheels? Pictures?
Thanks!

03-18-2006 #3I think the answer would be no.
The problem is that the size, the fronts are 17x9.5 and the rears are 18x10.5 both of which are too big to run safely in the wheel wells of a first gen, unless you are real lucky with the rears and change the subframe, i was thinking about it too but decided to go with c6 wheels however have not fitted them yet so i cant say for sure how well they fit...Brian

03-19-2006 #5My thoughts exactly... I'm sure that it can be done... just curious if anyone HAD done it. I'm really more interested to see what it would look like before undertaking the pain in the A$$ that I'm sure it would turn into... oh well... ZR-1's it is.

I am running C5 wheels 17x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. I know that you can buy aftermarket z06 wheels in smaller sizes.
