Hey i jsut purchased the world products 427 world class engine. I went with aluminum heads and even better the aluminum block ! Iots got hte hydraulic roller cam and put out 520 horse and 500 torque. Does anybody have this motor or has anybody driven something similar? I want to know what i got myself into.

haha it only ran about 11,500. My dad grew up drooling over the zl1's so we cant get over the wow factor and nostalgia of the aluminum 427. At 17 i was lucky to have a 350...nevermind a 427!!!!

Sounds like "Somebody's" 427 needs some love.....

Is that rear wheel horse or crank?

haha ur right about my sig and i was gunna have shafiroff build me one but pops said 600 was a little much. with 500 im already gunna have trouble keeping the tires planted. The 520 horse and 500 torque is crank. im guessing a little over 400 rear wheel then? I changed my ls1tech sig and forgot this one! thanks for the reminder
