if you guys remember the 1st 69 camaro that the tucker's did,was at columbus gooyguys in 2000,was yellow with black stripes, that was a street rod/pro touring all in one.

bob's cuda is like a modern exotic, brake's,handling, the best super engineering you can get.killer ride.not a street machine imo, sorry bob, thing still rocks,i'd like to see it on the autobana with the best exotic out there, that would be a killer shootout.

you want a street machine build a mini tubbed or full pro street ????????,with a bb and blower, some pro stars, and thats a street machine

      What's up Bob,
Your car came out great. I look forward to seeing it in person. The wheels made a huge difference. Don't worry, I'm not offended. And I know how the whole show thingie works. We'll have fun. I look forward to meeting you in person. Are you guys doing Power Tour with the stang?

      Hi 68,

Yes we will be doing the power tour. That is unless some unforseen natural calamity keeps us from going.

As far as SMOTY, I view our car as the dark horse (no pun intended). For us to get any consideration, the judges are going to have to stop, look closely and study what we have done. If they just give it a passing glance, we are doomed.

With that said, the judges at the Autorama said that of all the cars there, ours was the only car they saw where the window trim was cauked with butyl. They asked my brother how such a young fellow knew such an old school trick. Wayne said that he was older than he looked. :-)

Thanks. I'll be sure and yank that 283 as soon as I get it home. Needs a paddle shifted 4L60E too. You guys have a Lay-A-Way plan?

Here ya go. This should drive my point home. One car treats the engine like a dirty little secret. The other car celebrates the engine, the engine compartment and all things mechanical. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares? Just my opinion.

Any one in it for the awards only - may have a screw loose. Thats just my opinion. Nothing personal. SN65 I completely agree with you.

At the awards ceremony for Detroit Autorama, they gave out trophys in 100+ classes. Even dune buggys and go-carts get awards. Yet cars like Poison Dart, SN65 don't. WHY?

Awards are a joke! I won my first time out showing the car, and it was at Detroit Autorama. It made me sick. My wife went up to pick up the award, I instead left the event and went to dinner.

I will take my cars to other shows, however, I will never have it judged in an event again. I didn't even take home my own trophy. I gave it to the guys who did the work on the car.
