Need FORD guys help

I am building a Pro Touring style Ford and I am lost when it comes to Ford engines. There are so mant different mdels it is crazy. I am trying not to throw the LS1 or BBC in there but need help.




It is a heavy wagon and needs some serious go. It also needs a rear sump either avail or stock.

Are the Cobra supercharged engines worth the swap? Are they really a port and tune to 450RWHP?

Older style 347 DSS long block with supercharger?

460 or 514 crate engine? Too heavy

What would a Ford diehard put in there?

What is the "IN" FORD engine???
