      69 camaro compressor location

      right now my compressor is on the driver side with a long ugle hose all the way across the motor to the other side of the firewall...i dont know if this is liek that on all 69's but i hate it...my boss has a 68 and it is on the passenger side and is alot neater....o by the way this is stock a/c....so can i jsut buy the brakets for the 68 and move the compresser to the passenger side and the alternator to the drivers side and jsut get a new hose made....i think this would look a whole lot better....any thoughts

      It's not a simple bolt-in unless you change to a short water pump and swap the entire accessory drive system. You will also have to rewire most of the front harness.

      Also, it is much easier to deal with the #8 and #6 plugs with the compressor on the LH side.
