      Ford People?

      *dons flame resistant underwear*

I respect some chevies, but I am a die-hard ford guy, mercury more specifically.

My dream is to eventually find a 72 torino and build it to be a pro-touring car.

      What about y'all?

I'd like to do a Fairlane GT or a Comet with a 2003 Cobra motor and 6-speed trans!

I've even thought about a 2 or even a 4 door 1968 LTD!!!! EEEHHH?!!! Different? Still Cool? Yep.

Bought my girlfriend a 67 Mustang Coupe. Hope to own a 67 Mustang fastback within the next 5 years to build into an Eleanor.

I prefer fullsize cars more, myself.

An LTD convert of the same vintage would rock rolling on airbags, 18" TQ Thrust IIs, with a bigblock and and overdrive...

I also plan to build a 2dr box as a open road race car, too..

      No Flame suit needed

You will find that the vast majority of guys on this board respect and appreciate all the different makes and models..
Especially when they are built in a "Pro Touring" style.
That being said from one Ford/Car guy to another welcome!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I have long been a wrenchhead. I'm only 23, but strongly love old cars.

My present car is a 2dr 84 grand marquis that I am building up.

3.73/TKO600/351C and looking for good ideas on black wheels 17" and up :D

I'm a Chevy guy. Yet I spend every weekend working on a pro-tour 73 Comet of all things (not mine). It's all good if it can turn a corner!

      Welcome!

Mavericks and Comets are among my fav cars too.

I own/run another car related site that I am always on, www.grandmarq.net which is powered by vBulletin.

I don't usually hang out a lot on other forums, but I really like the general atmosphere here!!

Don't get the idea that it's among my favorite cars! It belongs to a friend of mine and his daughter, so I enjoy helping them out. She also recently joined here. Check out the pics under the cometchick thread.

I heard they're F#$#$*** Old rebuilt Dodges. This comes from a guy that loves Camaros but A Ford dealership pays the bills. I also own 2 ford trucks 1 escort 1 windstar 1 contour and my project a 69rs/ss camaro Oh well with my discount I can't afford to buy any other make.
