cable clutch setup
what do you guys think of a cable clutch set up like the mustangs have. i have looked at some posts over on ls1.com and looks like alot of the guys don`t like the hydraulic set up, i have an ls1 with a tremec tko600 going into a 69 camaro, with my headers, the z-bar set up is not going to work without a ton of fab work. i think i can get this to work without much problem. mike

This is a good question...the car I'm in the middle of building originally had a cable clutch as well...

03-04-2006 #7james i have a lakewood bell, i had to take some of the 10mm bolts out of the back of the ls1,( the bolt heads were to big and hit the bell flange) put in some allen head bolts and have to weld 2 holes and redrill for the bolts that go into the oil pan, it bolts right up no adapter. you will need the long pilot bushing, i have the s&p motor plates, stainless works headers. mike
