Well it took me awhile but I finally made it to post # 1,000

I know some have done it in a lot shorter time and I probably have many more than that if you count the times on the other formats before this one ,but I hope that I have had quality over quantity.

I hope that everyone has found my comments both informative and thought provoking. I don't always have something to say but when I do I can get lengthy and sometimes sidetracked but that is just me.

I couldn't think of a better group of people to hang out with and look forward to the next 1,000 post, Thanks for listening and I hope that my influence here has and will always be a good one

Jim, you always seem to have the LOOOONG posts. Maybe if you broke your paragraphs into posts you would be at 4,000! lol
Congratulations and thanks for the insight you bring to these discussions! Definitely quality over quantity!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

1,000 huh? How long did it take you to get to this number? At the rate I post ( I read more than I post ) I suspect I will reach the golden 1000 mark sometime mid to late 2007. It almost like a sickness for me, this is by far the most addicting pleasure that I can get away with while working. I need to post more

Okay I admit it, sometimes I cheat a little and rack up the post count in the Welcome section! J/K

Let me think? It must have been almost 3yrs to make them and I think it might be right about 4,000 paragraphs.

Steve, the car is slowly making progress. The thing right now is making sure the holes I put in places are the right places. I just turned the engine over with the starter for the first time and it made me feel like I won the jackpot at Vegas. I think I have the wiring platform figured out after logically thinking about it for 6 months. So many different ways to do a system and with saftey being a major concern along with looks it really can be a hard thing to work out. Some may not think that I am going to do it the best way possible in some aspects but I have kept coming back to keep it simple and easy to work on along with how safe is all of the extra do dads that have come out going to really make that much difference when it isn't required by anybody to do that way.MAD has so many great ideas now. Some things are not going to make any difference compared to the circumstances that will make them fail if you add them. I always put saftey first and believe that what I am going to do will be more than sufficient for what I am doing and if I start to do heavy racing events adding what is needed will be easy with the forethought I am giving it.

There I go again getting side tracked and a long post

I will put some pics in the update section soon and thankyou all for your support.

Congrats Jim. Remember...it's not the quanity that counts but the quality. And yours have been just that through the years.
