RS/SS headlights ??
How well do the headlights work on a '69 Camaro RS/SS with the headlight doors closed?, is much vision lost? If fitted with hi-power bulbs is it possible to use them closed permanenetly? I've a customer that has them fitted to his car but does not have all of the door actuation mechanism, hence they're permanently shut. As the car's in his garage he's unable to see how well they'd work closed, thanks.

They actully work pretty well. I wouldn't recommend driving a long way or often at night without opening the doors, but it's okay. I have standard bulbs and after a car show, or if I don't have too far to go, I will leave mine closed. It may be even better with hi-power bulbs. Also, I've never been stopped, but it wouldn't surprise me if cops would stop you if they noticed the doors closed.

BTW-DSE now has an electric kit for 69 doors.
