Who makes this one & what does it fit?

F, B % G body rotors all use the same bearings. I think S-10s are the same too.

Ah, I see. When I was going down the C5 brake route on B/G spindles. I simply took one of the factory rotors & had the brake surface machined off to make a hub.

Obviously doing this pushes the wheel out .25" or so, and weighs more than aluminum ones.

Scot, this is Dennis (Bigthreefan) from the Monte board.

I have my "LS1's" done with the G-body spindle & the turned down rotor
.. I was just looking at other options. I can get Baer hubs for $155 each

      thanks though

I was going to have some made. But the guy wanted $300 for the pair. Instead I bought a set of ZQ8 spindles. They have the slip on rotors. And all I had to do was make the adapter bracket between the knuckle & the C5 saddle bracket. No (very little) machining was needed on the knuckle itself. Actually just a little grinding.

All G bodies use the same spindles from 78 - 87/88.

I don't know if there is anyplace that it is all documented. I have done research on this for a while. What do you want to know?

Actually Scot. the 78-81 G-bodys uses a shorter spindle "hub" & requires a different part#/s rotor. to be on the safe side I always say 78-81 are the "same" & then 82-88

Oh, sorry about that. I thought all parts were interchangeable from 78.
      Thanks for clearing me up.

Are the mounts for the upper & lower ball joints different?

no they are all the same in that aspect. just the actual spindle/hub area differs. the area-space between the bearings (that make sense?)

Yep makes perfect sense. Then the S10 ZQ8 "knuckles" would still fit because the ball joints & mount locations are the same.
