      Camaro Project

I bought a 69 Camaro about a year ago. It was a "driver" then and I haven't made any changes that keep me from enjoying it now. But as I read and see other rides getting the Pro-Touring build-ups, I know that's what I want. Long-term plan for sure, but these forums are are going to be a great source of info as I progress.

      Welcome to the site.
Post some pics of your ride.
Believe me when I say that there is a wealth of info on this board.

Welcome. I'm in the same boat. I don't want to do without my "driver", so I'm collecting parts to P/T mine in one shot! At least "phase 1"!

Thats the best blue chevy has ever had. Not that I'm partial to it at all. I've got 69rs/ss myself planning on full DSE treatment w/T56 and a small block Have you got any plans yet? Just don't be like me been in the garage in pieces for 17 years

I plan to get the car ready for some Spring and Summer cruising. I have already replaced the stock 4-speed with a Keisler 5-speed for driveability. The highway was pretty rough before the swap. I think I will plan the large projects for winter, either suspension & brakes or Air Conditioning, kind of up in the air for now.

Suspension and brakes! Who cares if you're funky and your hair is messed up!
