      Fresh Air Ducts?

      How necassary are the fresh air ducts in my 69' Camaro kick panels? I have installed a Gen II compact vintage air system and wondering if I need the fresh air vents. I am looking in from a custom stadpoint and i want to put speakers in these holes and smooth my kickpanels. Will this effect anything functionally? Is this a good or bad idea?
