Prodigy delivers the 55
We delivered the 55 to the interior shop today. What a killer car this turned out to be. We've built more brutal, more hardcore, crazier stuff, but this one could be the perfect package. Definitely in my top 10 favorite cars I ever worked on. Excellent power from a all aluminum Bill Mitchell hardcore 427 / 563MPH small block. Art Morrison chassis, Billet Specialities 18s / 17s are slowed with Wilwood polished 13" /12" brakes. With a T56, attached to a McCleod aluminum wheel and hydraulic clutch, into a 3.73 9" rear.
The colors are HOK true blue Pearl and 2005 Chrysler 300C Cool Vanilla. the pic from the rear in the shade shows the color contrast better. The camera did not do well picking up the vanilla in the brite Florida sun today.
The interior shop is not ours, and thinks they need 8 weeks. Were hoping they can finish it for Atlanta year one in April. the owner is in his 60s and races SCCA Porsche 914s, so he ain't scared to run it around the road coarse, and maybe i can make a blast down the dragstrip with it. Based on running it side by side with my street racer on motor, which ran 10.70s last week, it stays pretty close at a 30MPH roll, once it is hooked up. With the T56, 3.73 and a legit 560HP, it blows the tires off under 30 in 1st or second, so we will have to put slicks on it to see possible low 11s, 10.99Last edited by ProdigyCustoms; 04-24-2006 at 06:34 AM.
