If you are a member on that site have the poster give the location the vehicle was stolen from, a description of the trailer, plate #'s for both and a breakdown of the major parts of the car.

That way if anyone spots a motor on craigslist that looks familiar...ya know.

That is my friend John's car. It was stolen 1 mile from here out of his shop. He had no alram, on a main drag with high visability, and no insurance. The thieves stole no tools or anything else, kind of letting us know it was a direct hit on that car.

It is a 8 second car, races at the track, and is well known. The car was probably profiled. It is ashame, no one deserves to have there car stolen, and John really is a super nice guy.

I don't have any of the details either. They are already a bunch of people involved, they are handling it.

It was a open trailer, if you can believe the balls it took to do that!

It angers me just reading about this. Makes me think alot less of society. It's sad how people can be. I'm afraid to bring out my vehicle because I'm going to have to leave it at times, obviously.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?

Just saw the car on racingjunk.com. I was like, holy crap someone is trying to sell it. Then i looked at the add. False alarm, just says he's looking for it.

With the crazy prices these muscle cars bring now, It's not surprising the theft rates. Hard to believe I bought my car for 800 dollars.

I HATE seeing racecars stolen. None of us really have insurance other than insurance that protects the car in the event of an accident on the way to/from the track.

If any low lifes got some cash off stealing my Dad's Camaro there'd be hell to pay from a whole lot of people. That's why I'm glad we pull the car out of the trailer the next morning after the race.

I wish that guy the best of luck, I know what time/money people have in these drag cars as well as many of you and it can't be easy to recover from something like this.

I will say, on a positive note, I've heard of drag cars being stolen then showing back up in one piece... hope the same happens for him and the low lifes that stole his car get whats coming via a massive beatdown.

Car was found yesterday with the motor and trans gone. All electronics, fuel pumps, etc. gone and some damage to the sheetmetal. Basically got back a roller. As the story goes, they paid off a snitch and stole it back! I'll let you know more details as they come in

GRRRRRR. Something is better than nothing I guess, I hope he can track the rest down somehow... at least the motor and tranny although those electronics and fuel system parts add up.

      Any new info?
