      Mustang Baer e-brake

My Baer caliper e-brake brackets are hitting the bottom edge of the inner fender panels on my 68 coupe as shown in the pic. The car has GW springs that I further dearched an additioanl 2". I removed the brackets from the caliper but I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Although I have installed a Lokar e-brake lever on the tunnel between the seats there was no way I could run the cable because it would interfere with the frame. This pic is at ride height so you can see where the cable hole in the bracket is relative to the frame. Swapping calipers side to side to position the cable brackets on the bottom of the caliper creates interference with the leaf spring.

A more general question is how many of you guys have a functioning e-brake on your aftermarket brakes? I also wonder if there are different cable brackets for this caliper that might work?

If I understand you problem correctly I had a similar problem. I solved this by simply redrilling the caliper bracket and rotated the caliper down a little bit. ~Phillip
