      2004 Explorer rear setup

I recently acquired as basically brand new complete rear end setup from a 2004 Explorer Sport-Trac w/ 4.10 posi, 31 spline etc. etc. I'm going to save this for a future project to be determined.

I also have access to another one that has the housing bent. What are my options with respect to robbing the disc setup up from this type of rear end to use on my 9" in my truck? The 9" originally came from a (I think) '70 Torino station wagon. I know some aftermarket setups are based on the Explorer rear, but I didnt' know how much of it was directly from the Explorer.

The parking brake setup looks pretty simple, with the drum style parking brake inside the disc.

      Any comments/suggestions welcome.

      Hope this makes sense!

      Thanks,

      Brandon

The axle standoff is 2.5 inches on my currie so as long as you can get 2.5 inches standoff you should be fine

You may have to modify the bracket a little
