Hey guys,
I am new member but have browsed the site for a while
I recently got 70 nova ss396 that had been sitting for years, originally it was an L78, 4speed, 12bolt car but the original motor blew up year ago. It still has the 12 bolts and the trans and the rest of the cool SS parts. I have 402 to put in it.
my plan: update the suspension (do not know if this is feasible but I would like a car that would handle well enough to take to open track events)
5-speed, aluminum heads, 4 wheel disks
Most everyone thinks that it is a shame that I am not trying to the restore the car. I think it would be way more fun with the upgrades
