Goodmark Trunk Lid 1968 Camaro...Help Locating One...

      Hi Guys,

I'm in need of a Goodmark reproduction Trunk Lid for my 1968 Camaro...

Ricks, K&R, and Goodmark have told me that these are currently on back order and I kind of need it ASAP...

Anyone know of a parts retailer with these in stock or of a shop I can try...?

      thanks,
      TIM

www.chevroletrestorationworld.com usually has stuff like that in stock. If NPD doesn't have one, you might try them.

I found a Golden Legion Trunk Lid in stock at NPD...

Aren't these the same as Goodmark? I think so...

Camaro Concepts here in Houston has several Goodmark deck lids in stock! I just picked one up for my 69 Firebird.

Before you do any painting on it bolt it on and make sure it fits.

      yeah it's heartbeatcity.net I think or Rick's 1st generation carries them

If you cant stand the price of a good used one or one of these $$ usa repo's ...fit the goodmark up and then tack weld the skin to the inner structure(about every 2 to 3 inches) to lessen flexing...these things will fit one way, put w/s in and spoiler on they fit another way...so the tacks tend to stiffen it up a bit. And they tend to be a bit small when put on a car with OEM quarters..the gap tends to be a little large.
