      Proportioanl Valve Conversion

I have a proportional valve, 5 port brass, 2 inlets 2 front outlets one rear outlet, originally for a disc front drum rear application. It reduced the rear brake pressure for the drums.

Well now I have converted to front and rear disc brakes with a new master cylinder, and would like to use my proportional valve as a distrubution valve now, so the front and rear brakes get the same pressure.

Is there a way to take out the inside parts so that this will deliver the same pressure front and back. That way I dont have to buy a new one.

      Thanks
      Mike

Is there an access port that you can open to pull the guts out?

If there's not, then the answer is likely to be "not really".

What are you working with? Is your car a 50/50 weight car to begin with? Mid-engine? If not, a 50/50 pressure brake pressure system will put ya into a tailspin pretty quick.... -Jabin

      Hi Mike, Hey Jab,
Try using the set up you have now.If its no good then make changes.

I just did a car and it works fine with the stock combo. Another car used a 3rd gen disc/drum prop valve and it worked nicely.
