Interior Strip
Hello all,
I'm in the process of stripping out the interior of my 68 Firebird, and I just had a quick question: Does anyone know a good way to rip out the factory sound-deadening material? Taking it out with a putty knife seems like it will be a pain, I was wondering if you guys had any good ideas.
Thanks

01-19-2006 #2if it is the tar stuck to the floorpan i use an air hammer with a sharp chisel bit. i would not recommend this to beginners without a welder because it is easy to rip a hole in the floor but it is the fastest and the way i always do it.
