Help with GM connect and cruise not starting

I've got a brand new LS376 in my 71 Camaro and when trying to start it for the first time it fires up for a split second then dies. It does the exact thing for the exact time interval everytime I try to start it. I've got an AAW classic update wiring harness and an ididit steering column. I've got good fuel pressure and everything else works as it should. I've searched the forum and seen a few people with similar problems but I think I've ruled out their fixes. I talked to ididit and confirmed I have the updated delay relay. Any ideas what else it could be?

Check to see if ignition power remains ON to the ECM after you release the key from the crank position. It could be that the ignition switch is only applying ignition power to the ECM when in the crank position.

After doing some more testing I discovered the MAF bung was welded on backwards in the intake tube. I flipped the sensor around(it taped the edges to seal it the best I could since it is directional) and it fired right up and runs. Thanks for the advice though!
