SOLD!! Up for sale here is a very nice used dual electric fan controller kit from Ron Davis Radiators. This kit is what Davis sells to turn on/off his dual SPAL fan systems when an external controller is needed. This kit is complete with a few extra relays and circuit breakers. The kit has a two-wire temp sender that turns on the fans at ~190F, and then turns them off when the temp drops below 180F. There is also a switch for manual override to turn on both fans manually, and the kit will allow one fan to run when the AC is turned on. This kit was briefly installed in my '92 pickup truck, but I took it out to convert over to a different control system for higher amp draw fans. The kit is complete with install instructions, all the harnesses (some of them unused), the temp sender etc. This is a really nice set-up as Davis has all the wiring covered with abrasion resistant conduit, connections heat-shrinked, star washers for main ground connection etc. The connectors for the fans are the t-shaped ones for SPAL fans, but they could easily be replaced with whatever connector your fans take. I am including an extra set of micro-relays and the three diodes used in the control chassis, and a pair of 30A re-settable circuit breakers to use in place of the 40A micro-fuses. Davis advised me that the circuit breakers are more forgiving of fan turn-on current rush than the fuses, even though they are rated at 10A less capacity.
