      Daily Driven 200tw Tire

I'm pretty sure I know what kind of answers I'm gonna get but sometimes I'm surprised so I'll ask anyway:

Those of you who have tried daily driving200tw tires, what kind of mileage did you get out of them? I'm looking to replace my 555s and if I can get a year our of 200tw tires, I may try them.

200tw tires pick up and throw a lot of small stones effectively sandblasting your paint.

It would be helpful to state your desired life in mileage, but I got a little over 5000mi. on mine.
They were NT05's in 305/35-19 used on the rear only... no intentional burnouts, but a lot of hard cornering & many full throttle passes.

I live outside Houston so we don't see low temps much.

10k miles out of a set with an autocross event once a month would be nice. I used to daily 555Rs and they would last around 5k miles and I think they're 100tw

I don't have any paint on my car anyway

Very anecdotal experience, but The Falken Azenis RT615K+ will probably out last those. I suspect the more modern 200tw will wear faster.

I put 3 and a half years of daly driving (unless ir rained) on my NT01 Nittos. There is still some tread left too. Granted, I didn't do any real spirited driving, because I wanted them to last, and they have. 100tw rating

I guess the issue is, what are you looking for in a tire?

If you want 10,000 miles from a tire then drive like a Grand mother going to church on a 300TW or harder tire.

I barely saw 2k miles on a drag radial.

I got 5,000 mi. sliding through 25mph off ramps at 65mph & spinning the tires through 2nd & 3rd gear routinely.
This was with a lot of caster, toe out & negative camber.
Years mean nothing as I did this over 4 years, only because the weather prevented me from driving it more.
I want to drive it 5K a year, but not when it is supposed to rain or snow.

Also, when it is under 50 the sticky tires get very slippery & can actually crack in freezing weather.
I drove it on a few cold mornings & was crossed up quite a few times at part throttle... be careful under 50 deg.

I'm trying to avoid buying a second set of wheels and tires if I can help it. But if a set of 200tw tires is only gonna last 2-5k, then yea, I'm gonna need another set of wheels

I get 6-8 track days out of them on my car, which is roughly 18-24hrs driving time.

If it is a financial decision, a second set of wheels is going to be less expensive in the long run.
