Reinstalling Straight Bumper on a 2nd-Gen

Hey all. I finally threw a grille on my second-gen Camaro. Had to pull off the straight bumper to do it, obviously, and now I'm having a tough time getting it mouted back up. Tried a couple times and nicked the paint. I don't feel like doing that again, so it's off to the forums to see if you guys have any tips. Is there something obvious I'm missing? Anything I can do to make it easier (and safer on the paint) for myself?
