      LS3 Cruise and Connect Package

About 5 yrs ago I bought GM’s LS3 376-525HP cruise and connect package. I went with their 4 spd automatic. This past week we drove the car through some windy roads in the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia. Lots of elevation change. The transmission is setup to go into 4th at 40MPH. When I approach a hill I step on the gas’s, and she heritages A LOT until I stomp the gas pedal and it kicks in 3rd and finally pulls like I thought it should at 40 mph in 4th. My transmission is a 4L75E. Basically a 4L60 E case with stronger internals. Can the transmission be reprogrammed so it shifts into 4th at 50 mph or higher?

      Thanks in advance.

Yes. You got a USB stick with your connect and cruise and a cable to connect to the transmission controller. You, or someone else, can connect to the TCU and make it do whatever you want. You can also enter the proper tire diameter and gear ratio which is likely causing the bulk of your issues.

On my LS swaps with 4L60E's I always have ECM set the trans OD (4th) and TC lock up at 45 MPH. Lots of 40 mph back roads around here.
I don't do the tuning. I have a some what local tuner do a drive tune.
My LS swaps are typically small cams so I really don't need a chassis dyno tune.
