How do you work the Search Engine?

I have been on this board for years and I could never get the search engine to work.

There is a gold mine of information on here from some of the best automotive minds in the country but I can never gain access....

Try using specific keywords, phrases, or usernames to narrow your search. Also, check the forum's search tips or FAQ section for guidance.

Forum search engines usually suck. But, you can search the site with a browser. Say I wanted to find the best cam for an LS engine on this site. I would type the following into a search browser (I use Waterfox with duckduckgo for an engine) and would get a list of links concerning LS cams on this forum.

      site:pro-touring.com best LS cam
      2021 Durango R/T
      2005 Dakota beater
      2003 Dakota project-o-mobile

You definitely have to weed thru the posts on a search to find what you are looking for. Haven't seen any forum with a great search. What is an example of something you are looking to find on the site?
