      1967 Camaro Project

Evening everyone. Wanted to make a project topic for my newly acquired 1967 Camaro. Has always been a dream of mine to have one that seemed impossible but i somehow managed to buy this one!
A lot of weekends and late nights working on ls swaps and side mechanic work for local people in my small town made it happen! It’s my first 1st gen Camaro so learning as I go! I have alot of plans for the car. I’ll go into detail as I go along. Hoping to have it tackled by end of summer as I work alot and still purchasing parts.

My plans for the car are!
Ls swap with a 402 Kong 2650/4l80. I have those already. I’ll go into details on these soon!
Qa1 front/rear coilover with control arms and 4 link with ford 9” (still awaiting on rear kit to arrive) DSE mini tubs, vintage air and a few others i plan on.
      Well here is the car!

Made a little progress today. Dropped the front subframe and removed the sbc400/th350. When I bought the car it included a sandblasted and painted subframe. So I went to markerplace and sold the engine/trans and subframe quickly!

I got the complete qa1 coilover front kit installed. Also installed a Borgeson 12.7-1 quick ratio box and ridetech TruTurn with the matching spindles. I also installed Holley/hooker swap mounts and trans 80e crossmember not pictured. Going to try and source a brake hardline kit before i drop Engine/ trans in.

Haven’t made much progress in the last few weeks been tied up on other customer projects and work. Had time to install front Wilwood brakes I purchased few weeks ago. Also partially installed my brake lines that I purchased from The Stop Shop.
Also everything for the 9” rear set up showed up! Name: IMG_5705.jpg
