Long time due "Updates"
Hello everyone. It's been awhile, the past few years have been a roller coaster ride of life events. Including back surgery, shoulder surgery and two Cardiac Arrests that leave me with an internal defibrillator. Needless to say that I am lucky to be here.
My latest build of the Monte has mostly been on hold but I am back at it.
I've had to hire a weldo to finish the frame upgrades and rear frame notch. I also flew down a fabricator from MA to finish the welding for the twins.
For the past two months I have been finishing up with the work on the body which includes a complete rewire, installation of a Vintage Air system, and relocating the battery to the trunk and adding a Snow Brothers meth system with the tank in the trunk.
Because f physical limitations it is slow going but I hope to have the body on the frame within the next few weeks.
Things to get done;
- Body on frame
- Fuel system plumbing
- intercooler and air evaporator mount
- wire up the F.A.S.T. ECU and terminate all sensors.
- Make arrangements and bring the car to the dyno shop for tuning.
- I'm sure that I am missing something.
- just remembered, I'll need a driveshaft capable of 1000HP. Any suggestions?
Fortunately, I only live about 40 minutes from Comp Cams and F.A.S.T. and I've been hooked up with the tuner that helped develop the F.A.S.T. system so I am optomistic that the tuner will do a great job.
Here are a couple of pictures of where I am at. I hope to get re-involved here now that I am up and around more.
