Price Question
I got some one who has a 74' Datsun Z. It's green right now in great shape. He wants to do a color change, firewall, radiator supoort, etc. I am unsure on how to charge him...besides hourly...I want to give him a flat rate option. He wants the engine pulled to make sure the firewall is done correctly...any ideas??????

i know nothing about owning a shop or charging..but couldnt you estimate total time X your hourly..and add some for extra time ..go form there?

hard to say w/o pics.....if the body was perfect needed to filler or priming just scuff and shoot I wouldn't touch it for less than 5k! If it need body work add accordingly.

Charge him X amount to start, then hourly + parts, and as long as he keeps paying, you will keep working.
