      Done dragging my feet

      Hello to you all.

I have finally stopped dragging my feet on my dad's old 1957 Chevy. I am 47 years old and was an import car guy growing up and still am a fan of most all things racing and motorized. My dad passed away several years ago, and it took time to track down a title to the car and to put the money away for the project. Life gets in the way and raising my kids took the front seat over the car. But the kids are old enough now and the excuses are gone. I have an Art Morrison chassis on the way for the car that is about 3-4 months out and will be powering it with a 6.2 LS and a manual transmission. I am not really a show car kind of guy, but I love functionality and some cool styling cues on cars. My goal with the car is to be a car my wife and I can jump in and cruise, and my kids and I can jump in and drive hard and do some local auto-x or track driving days.

      Looking forward to the adventure

      Larry

I have a son that now live out of state, but my daughter is 22 now and has become more car focused after a lot of years of MX racing focus. 100% the plan is to allow them to be involved if they chose to be, but time will tell if that is the case. fingers crossed
