      Please help make my decision

After finding out that its going to cost like $700.00 just for machine work on my 350 block, to convert it to a 383, I am considering buying this assembled shortblock instead. http://www.speedomotive.com/BUDGET%2...%20BLK.HTL.htm -$1695.00 w/ free shipping.

To build a 383 with my internals that I have I am still looking at roughly $1200.00-$$1500.00 then I have to assemble it, and have no warranty whatsoever.

Here is what I already have, performer rpm airgap, demon 750 carb, full MSD ignition, dart pro 1 aluminum heads with 200cc runner, 64cc chambers, 2.02/1.60 valves.harland sharp 1.5 rockers. Dart says no higher lift than 515 with the springs the heads come with..

      Which way would you go?

You might want to do a search on a few automotive websites - I seem to remember some folks had some negative stuff to say about their Speedomotive engines.
