Since you mentioned build I’m going to assume it’s not for a late model car. Easiest way is to get an Android tablet or an IPad. For HVAC controls you’ll need to buy the restomod air unit. They have a Bluetooth app for android and iPad. For radio, you can get a Bluetooth amp again the android/iPad will control the amp. You can also buy a cheap head unit like Sony or pioneer that have apps, hide the headunit in the trunk or glove box etc. Again Bluetooth controlled via iPad/android. If you do an LS swap and have OBD port yiu can get an OBD Wi-Fi or Bluetooth dongle then use an app like torque to create a gauges, clear and read trouble codes etc.
