      PERMA COOL Review 19111

      Anyone running these with success?
Current set up is twin spall 11" pulling an advertised 1350 at 0 static.
Finishing build, adding full sized intercooler sandwiched between VA condenser and 2 core x 1.250 inner tubed Entropy radiator.
Should be fine but 100 degree Cali weather is coming.

      Perma-Cool states 2800 cfm.

That kind of cfm at 10 amps sounds like BS to me. I’ve learned to only trust Spal when it comes to fan ratings. If you really want to move some air go Spal brushless with Carl’s new brushless fan controller.

Vintage Airs monster fan is a Spal brushless fan.

      cool, thx
hopefully xmax neg fan trigger can be converted to pwm signal to pwm or else will have to dedicate a diff line out to it.

      a year later

Well finally got the cam/crank gremlin gone with MSD external crank trigger and now that its running and 109 degree weather here revealed cooling issues.
I will look into the brushless SPAL set up recommended.
Also looking at Entropy's single row 2" tube radiator. Single row tested better flow through capacity and 2" tube has tons of surface area. In house testing shows out performed their 1.25" tube 2 core rad. Looks like the CR full size intercooler and Vintage air condenser proved to be too much for the twin 11" spals, even with full block offs forcing all air through rad, while moving keeps at 210, once stand still in traffic jumps to 225 and thats with no AC on.
