LS1 Swap Cruise Control Help? DBC

Have a 72 Firebird LS1/T56 Drive-by-Cable swapped from a 98 Trans Am. Drivetrain is installed wired up (PSI harness) running/driving. i have installed the 98 cruise box and cable and connected to TB (all wiring there just not connected). i also have an 87 Trans Am column installed with cruise control functions on the stalk (all cruise wiring there). can someone provide guidance on how to connect this to my setup also. i also have all the pedal switches from the donor 98, clutch switch & brake pedal switch. i have all the components and wiring installed, just don't know how to wire it.

I could be wrong, but I believe that will be very difficult to make work based on older threads when guys first started using LS1's for swaps. I believ your engine harness would had to be custom designed for the factory cruise. Rostra I believe makes a cruise control unit for cable TBs. I have used their DBW cruise control on 3 builds, and it works very well.

Get yourself a vintage cruise control kit from Ebay. There are several different kinds.
      Many of them are NOS

I bought one for my 71 c10 with 5.3 cable throttle, its called Escort. I think I paid about 85.00
      for the kit.

Took me a few hours to install and works like a charm.
Actually works better than the Dakota Digital cruise I have in my 69 Camaro LS3.

I installed one like this in a car 30 years ago and worked perfectly.

      Can't go wrong brother.
