      Finishing out trans tunnel work

Hey guys, I just recently raise the trans tunnel
using the Bowlers tunnel kit on my 69 Camaro. I’ve grind the welds and fixed any pin holes. I’d like to skim and smooth out some of the warping in the metal along the tunnel as well as clean up the firewall. What would you guys recommend on filler or skim to do this. Is it necessary to use a short strand or can I just use a lightweight filler? Here are some
      pics for reference.
The tunnel patch was nice, had to get creative with the collar to firewall, as well as transition inside the car to original tunnel. I did my best, I’m not a fabricator but my brother and I did the best we could. Let me know what y’all think.

I not a body shop expert but I play one in my shop. LOL.
My buddy has a local body shop. I've helped him with a few resto projects. He "lets" me do the block sanding.
Any place that has welding that may have pinholes fiberglass filler first because it's waterproof. Then regular filler and then glaze.
